Two by Two
We were asked by the '>Middle Tennessee State University Wesley Foundation to make the following announcement:
The familiar story of Noah and the Ark has been turned into a musical comedy called “Two By Two” and will be presented by the Wesley Players of the Wesley Foundation at MTSU. The Wesley Foundation proudly presents Two by Two opening on Wednesday, March 29 and runs March 29 – April 2, 2006. A Dinner Theatre performance will be on Saturday, April 1 at 6:30 PM. Performances will begin at 8:00 PM (except the Dinner Theatre).
A special matinee performance for area youth groups will be presented on Sunday, April 2 at 3:00 PM.
“Two By Two” was composed by Richard Rodgers of Rodgers & Hammerstein. It seems that the building of the ark was only the first of Noah’s many daunting challenges in a journey that wasn’t always smooth sailing. By turns inspirational and hilarious, we discover that being chosen by God for great things does not necessarily simplify the daily demands of a father and husband.
William Glover in the Associated Press called Two by Two “one of Richard Rodgers’ finest musicals … a show for everyone, rich in comedy, full of melody and that rare ingredient, heart.”
Tickets $3.00 for students, $6.00 for adults and Dinner Theatre tickets are $15.00 per person. Group tickets are available in advance. For Ticket Information call the Wesley Foundation office at 615-893-0469.
The Wesley Foundation is the United Methodist Student Center for Middle Tennessee State University. The address is 216 College Heights Ave., Murfreesboro, TN. Rev. Bill Campbell is the Campus Minister.

Blog and website changes.
We have put a hyperlink to this Blog on the "Upcoming Events" page of the church website.
We have also put the homepage link on the Blog sidebar and added some other links of interest to United Methodists.
The Church profile has been added, as well as a photograph of the church.
Hopefully, these changes will help to integrate the main website and the Blog so that we can use the Blog to announce upcoming events and activities, report news and list some prayer concerns.
The Blog's format will allow us to do these things in a much more timely manner.
Also, anyone can leave comments on the Blog postings. They will be available for all to see, so they can be questions, announcements, requests for prayers or anything that is of interest to church members.
We hope you all enjoy these new features and if you have any questions or suggestions for improvements, talk to Jack Gilbert or Art Ruch.
Check back soon for new postings.
